I found this fantastic vintage fabric at a local estate sale. It was in perfect condition, shifty in motion, so soft. Just lovely. I decided to uniquely position its floral rose pattern with gold accents to fit the jacket best.
This jacket has a kimono, duster vibe. Nice and loose, flowy, drapey.
And y'all... she's got pockets!
I serged/overlocked all the edges and seams to prevent fraying as this garment is worn.
It is machine washable.
Be sure to check your measurements. Lay out an article of clothing of similar fabric and fit and measure it across it. Don't measure while wearing the garment; that will double the numbers. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
