About the Artist - Joanie Isom

Joanie Reecer-Isom was born in Lockney, TX. Growing up in a very creative family, her father gifted her am Olympus SLR camera at age 12. Her passion for photography grew from there. Mixing mediums throughout her high school and college careers, Joanie has turned her love of art and photography into a business that morphs to the times while still retaining classical elements. From handmade to digital she has you covered.

Recently moving back home to Lubbock, TX, Joanie has continued to refine her oil paintings and drawings. A handful of commissioned paintings keep pushing her skills outside of the comfort zone.

  • Handmade Clothes

    I love finding vintage fabrics and notions at thrift stores. It's amazing the condition most items are in. I've even thrifted the patterns used!

  • Crochet & Knitting

    Tedious tasks that involve thousands of knots sounds like a good time to me. The smaller the knitting needle or crochet hook, the more fun!

  • Jewelry

    I have dabbled in making a handful of jewelry items. Nothing to fancy, but made well and with love. Custom requests are always welcome!
