'White Buffalo' was captured just near the Terryall River outside of Salida, Colorado in 2018. Kevin and I were driving home and saw a field of buffalo in a valley. We pulled over when I saw a white buffalo. I walked over to the fence and walked right up to me. I'm sure he expected treats, but it sure did feel magical all its own. Stopped just shy of me, turned, and posed. What a glorious moment. It has stuck with me for years.
